Crypto Cards The easy way to use Crypto

For over five years we have been writing about Bitcoin and Crypto and how it would offer a new and better alternative to the current financial system. Its been a crazy journey with lots of highs and plenty of lows. One thing that has remained constant is a belief that the current system has many flaws. We now have a scenario where money is being printed at an unprecedented rate and this means the value of your currency is being devalued very quickly.

Crypto cards and why they are important

For me Bitcoin started a journey into a much better understanding of economics. Back in 2016 I began transacting with others who had introduced me to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. We would use Bitcoin and a few other Cryptos to pay each other for hotels, restaurants bills and many bar tabs. Its worked well and still does. The problem was that outside of our circular economy being able to use our Crypto was very limited and took a certain level of technical sophistication. Many Bitcoin purists or maximalist scoff at these cards but I strongly feel they will play a large role in the evolution of Cryptocurrencies.

Crypto cards and how I use them

The Hardforking team helped with a video for a company called Embily. We got to know the CEO, Alex and other members of the team during this process and learnt about the card and Embilys plans. I’ve started using the card and for me its makes sense. Moving Crypto on to the card is super fast and instead of selling large amounts of Bitcoin I now just move what I need to spend that day, week or on a major purchase. I don’t really like trading as I’ve have been burnt in the past so this card makes sense for me as I’m all in on Crypto. The other members of the Hardforking team and a number of Blockchain friends all got the card and over the coming months I will be covering their thoughts and use of the Embily card. We will also have a look at how it compares to other offerings out there. Full disclosure, this is not paid marketing. There was a payment to produce a short video for Embily which is how we got to know them and the card. We are promoting the card now and we do get a % of the sign up fee in an affiliate based model. One of our team is also crating custom designs for you which has been something lots of people are loving.

You can sign up for a card using this link.

There are some major developments coming in June from Embily and we will be following these closely. Ww want to see used by a far greater amount of people as we firmly believe in the use case for a non sovereign global currency and we think usability or the ease of use is hugely important. Give us your thoughts on Crypto debit cards and which you think are the best offering out there.
