    Best Combos For Discard Bug

Sunder Claw & Third Glance Combo

    Sunder Claw + Third Glance

    Sunder Claw Third Glance

This combo is commonly used by Bug class Axies. Its goal is to force the enemy discard all their cards and rely on the 3 cards that they draw every start of the round. With this, it is almost impossible to be comboed since they will discard unused cards.

Anesthetic Bait & Snail Shell Combo

    Anesthetic Bait + Snail Shell

    Anesthetic Bait Sticky Goo

Anesthetic Bait and Snail Shell are two of the most powerful defensive cards in the game. With this, you can stun an attacking Axie (Aquatic and Bird class for Anesthetic Bait) to immediately shut down their combo. On top of that, both cards provides decent a shield and attack value.

    Best Allies/Counter For Discard Bug

    Best Teammates For Discard Bug

Discard Bug can be paired with 3 bug cards with the same abilities. This team will then just continuously discard the enemy’s cards and provide them with stuns some Bug Axies have.

    Discard Bug Weaknesses

Since this build has a composition of 3 identical Axies namely all Bug types, the difficult part is having no tank. You have to continuously rely on the Third Glance + Sunder Claw combo for the win.

Aqua, Bird, Dawn deal 15% more damage to Discard Bug since it’s usually a bug Axie.

    Breeding Fee Adjustment Update

SLP & AXS Cost Will Be Changed

Last December 8, 2021, it was announced that starting on December 9, 2021, the total SLP & AXS cost of breeding an Axie will change to manage the inflation of in-game resources.

    Update & Maintenance News

    SLP & AXS Fee Adjustment

SLP cost per breed will be tripled.

AXS cost per breed will be halved to 0.5 AXS

    Possible Effects In The Game

    Virgin Axies Will Cost More

Since the price of breeding will skyrocket after the adjustment. It is expected that the cost of Axies with 0 breed count will also increase. Players will now try to avoid purchasing high breed count Axies to avoid the increased SLP cost in case they want to breed their Axies.

    Breeding Better Axies

The drastic increase of required SLP of breeding will affect players to be more careful when breeding Axies to avoid getting parts that does not work well together.

You can check the genes of an Axie by using an extension called Freak’s Axie Extension. This will allow you to see what are the dominant and recessive genes of an Axie before you start breeding them.

Thanks Kris. I had also done some research and I had came up with these basics.

    Axie Origin Gameplay Mechanics

    📌Cards

👉You can hover over a card to enlarge it and tap on the card to use it.
👉All of your unused cards in your hand will be discarded after your turn except for those cards that have the Retain Tag.

    📌Revenge Cards

👉Even if your Axie is defeated, you will continue to draw cards from it in the next turns and they are now called Revenge Cards. These cards have Ethereal and Banish Tags so they will be discarded after your turn regardless of whether you decided to use them

    📌Deck

👉On the lower left screen, you can see your Draw Pile from which your cards will be drawn. You can click on this draw pile to view the remaining cards to be drawn. Take note that when you view the Draw Pile your cards will be shuffled.
👉On the lower right side of the screen is the Discard Pile and played or used cards are placed here
👉Once you’ve drawn all of your cards in the Draw Pile, the cards from the Discard Pile will be shuffled in the Draw Pile

    📌Energy

👉You get 3 Energy every turn and each card costs from 0 to 2 Energy to use.
Unused energy is discarded after a turn

    📌Turns

👉In Arena Mode, you only have 45 seconds to complete your turn and after that, your turn will end automatically
👉Meanwhile, there is no turn time limit in
    Adventure Mode

    📌Status Effects

👉Status Effects such as buffs and debuffs can impact Axies during a battle.
    Targetting

    📌Targetting

👉In Origin, you can no longer place more than one Axie in the same column
👉By default, attacks will target the front-most Axie of your opponent unless there are active game mechanics such as Taunt (The Taunt effect will cause all incoming enemy attacks to target this Axie), etc.
👉Some of the cards allow you to target an ally or opponent (Either a heal or an attack).
👉Some cards will target the 2nd-frontmost Axie or the furthest and this is similar to what we call “Backdoor” in V2. The only catch is subsequent attacks in V3 do not continue to target the Axie who was attacked with the initial Backdoor card.
